Study On Catalyst For Dehydrogenation Of Cyclohexanol To Prepare Cyclohexanone

Catalysts for dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to prepare cyclohexanone were prepared. A high performance catalyst was selected by systematic experiment with different catalyst component and condition of preparation, and conversion of cyclohexanol and selectivity with respect to cyclohexanone were tested by changing the pretreatment condition of catalyst, reaction temperature and space velocity. A 1500 hour stability test of catalyst was carried out under simulated industrial conditions. An industrial catalyst was then prepared and tested with a 100ml fixbed reactor. The prepared catalysts were also characterized with plasme emission spectrometer, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. It was concluded that the new type catalyst has higher activity than the industrial catalyst made in China at present, and its technical paramters have reached even exceeded those of imported catalyst.
