| People pay more and more attention to the treatment and comprehensive using of the gangue. The comprehensive using of the gangue includes extracting the usable mine and recycle the vast water in the gangue. At present, the traditional separation methods (for example, gravitation sedimentation and centrifugal sedimentation) are used in the gangue separation. The separation effect is not evidence. Using filtration method is a new way in the gangue treatment. In this paper, the solid (the mine) and the liquid (the vast water) in the gangue are filtrated and separated. The research found that after being floated, the components of the gangue are complex, containing a mass of clay and a vast of water. The solid grains are tiny and sticking, and the cake has high condensability. According to these characteristic, aid-agglomerant, agglomerant or flocculce were added in the gangue for the pretreatment. Then, the ceramic microfiltration membrane was chosen to filtrate the gangue, and the jam and revival capability of the membrane were investigated. The quality of the water after filtration was analysed and contrasted with the national standard. An economic analysis about the water recycle was carried out. The results indicate that pretreatment can change the structure of cake, increase the hole of cake and the aperture of capillary. So it can reduce the resistance of cake, increase the thickness of cake and the feasibility of dehydration. Using D1,D2 ceramic filter, the filtration can satisfy the separation requirement. The quality of the water after filtration can reach the national standard for the recycle. Using a 30m2 ceramic filter, the gangue with 30% solid content can be treated 29.57～32.14t/h, and 20.7～22.5 m3/h water can be recycled. Thus,1080,000～3900,000 yuan/year water fee can be saved.
