The Mechanical properties and the Microstructure of heterogeneoussteel welded joints were studied to 70 and X60, X70 and CF62, X70 andWCC carbon steel, X60 and WPHY60, X70 and WPHY70 steels for the westto the east natural gas pipeline station welding project when choosingthe fit welding materials. This text carried out the analysis of ordinarymechanical property and microstructure and hardness testing for fivegirth seam joints according to the tensile test and the bend test andimpact test and the microscope observation.X70, X60, CF62, WCC and WPHY60/70 steels belong to high-strengthlow alloy soft steels. If being welded with approximate compositionelectrodes, they can get good welding joints. The result indicates thejoints can fit the project need and the microstructure property is good.Carbon moving and the alloy element moving in welds are not obvious. The hardness distribution of welding joints can fit the project needaccording to the needed standard. The research shows that the differentkinds of steels welded in the pipeline project have good jointperformance, and can meet the requirement of pipeline station project. The research is important for the development and application ofdifferent kinds metal welding technology in pipeline project in theory, but also have important technical guidance meaning for adoptingdifferent kinds metal welding in project to decrease the cost and raisetheir service lives and satisfies. The study result has been used to the pipeline station weldingdirectly and has provided technology data and support to the pipelinestation building.
