It is very important to improve strip shape control in the period when strip thick control have developed fast and been perfect in the rolling.lt has become important method which improves the quality of roller shape according to cooling roller. So, it is important factual significance to research cooling device.Aimed at the disadvantages of traditional nozzle such as forming overlap-zone, spattering, uneven coolant and according to its factual flow distribution, the flow flied of continuous wide adjustable and water screen cooling water device is made in the paper. Its patent has been declared. Slot figure and flow are calculated. Based on the Finite element Method (FEM) theory of Compute Fluid Dynamics (CFD), FEM model is given. Using ANSYS/FLORTRAN that is a powerful FEM software, the inner pressure field and velocity field of the device is analyzed by three-dimension numerical simulation at different conditions. The major defect that the distribution of local flow is unreasonable is studied and optimized by changing pressure, adjusting the position and shape of inlet and outlet and increase reference points in the paper. According to simulant result, the optimal cooling model is provided.According theory experiment and feasibility experiment, the correctness of water screen cooling theory and the feasibility of configuration optimization based on simulative results. At last, the resolvents are put forward based on discoverable problems in the course of experiments. These work provide basis in order to farther optimal design in the future.
