Three-dimensional textile composites, for its integrated excellent mechanical properties, have been got more and more extensive application. Its potential function is increasingly taken into account. The technology for textile perform products is primarily weaving and braiding. There are different properties for different performs. Three-dimensional structural performs are highly continuous ensemble,which basically overcome the fault of conventional composite materials for its separated layers among no yarns. The development and applications of textile structural composite materials are highly promoted . At the same time, some defects are pointed out: present fabrics are not properly applied, and most of looms can't produce woven perform whose property is similar in different directions. Their shearing strength are lower, utilization of mechanical properties are also smaller;Although three-dimensional braided composites is of excellent integrated structure, normal braided fiber is traveled from internal to external surface, which is passed through braider and becomes three-dimensional structure. If the external surface is cut or rubbed , it's possible for the fiber to break down. In addition , the shape of perform is easily changed after it's finished . To deal with respective shortcomings and highlight their own advantages, we're searching a new weaving method which is the combination between weaving and braiding .The real structure and the yarn shape in the perform were observed by experiment. Furthermore, the relationships between weaving parameters were deduced, and mechanical properties of different structural composite materials are compared. Via the description of microstructure and the analysis of mechanical properties for the new perform, this paper attempts to choose varying woven technology. The study will provide the theoretic base with the design and application of three dimensional composites, which will promote increasingly the development of textile composite material subject.The results show that the new structure which is the combination between weaving and four-step braiding is superior by comparing with four-step braiding and weaving, in a sense, the new structure mechanical performance which is the combinationbetween weaving and two-step braiding is improved.At present, the systematical research on the woven method of three-dimension new structural composite is little. As a result, the work of this paper will have significant meanings for the theoretical research and applications of three-dimensional composite.
