Uniformity of first field of gas-flow distribution and airflow organization of electrostatic precipitator is one of important factor which influences the collecting efficiency. At present there are two methods to solve the problem;one is model experiment, the other is numerical calculation. Every large-scale electrostatic precipitator has to carry out model experiment which according to flow similarity building model, ascertain design parameter and correlative structure. Model experiment has high cost, long time. Numerical calculation method builds numerical value model use discrete method;obtain the numerical which describe quantificational flow field. Reduce experiment cost and design period.This paper builds a gas-flow distribution model on the basis of 240 t/h circulating fluidized bed coal fired boiler electrostatic precipitator system. Achieve model experiment. To measure gas-flow distribution of first field for different gas flow distribution parameter, summarizes rule of electrostatic precipitator gas-flow distribution;ascertain design parameter and correlative structure when gas-flow distribution is uniform though model experiment.On the basis of experiment on gas flow distribution of electrostatic precipitator, use computer flow dynamic software (FLUENT), solve flow field distribution in electrostatic precipitator, study numerical calculation method which solve flow field of electrostatic precipitator, The paper discuss the factors which influence the precision of computing result. Accomplish numerical calculation processes which solve flow field distribution in electrostatic precipitator by simplifying electrostatic precipitator physics model, ascertaining mesh types and adjusting mesh density , choosing turbulent flow model and calculation method and data disposing method. Obtain calculation results which satisfy electrostatic precipitator design demand.
