The Rules Of The Adsorption And Accumulation Of The Persistent Organic Pollutants In Different Sites And Different Media

The time of more than one year has been spent in the series of the experiments, from sampling to detecting the samples to conclude. Many rules, what are the trends of the persistent organic pollutants (POPs), especially researching PCBs and OCPs, in the leaf samples collected in Beijing and in the soil samples collected in the national nature reserve of Wolong, Sichuan province, have been exhibited in the results.Sampling leaves according to the process of growing has been done at different frequencies according as the period of the growth of the plants. Especially, the sampling frequency in bud burst should be high than that in other periods. The samplers gotten by this way can make our analyses correlative to the researches. And sampling soil has been done at eight different altitudes, what can help us conclude the degree and the style of pollution in the national nature reserve of Wolong, Sichuan province.The ways to predisposal the samples of leaf and soil are not uniform. Soxhlet extracting is the first step to predisposing both of the two styles of samplers. In predisposing the leaf samples, the next step is to dispose the samples with sulfuric acid cleanup according to the USEPA method 3665a. But the second step in predisposing the soil samplers is to cleanse them with Florisil, the third step is sulfuric acid cleanup. The remainder is to concentrate the sample- solutions to some concentration and detect them by GC-ECD finally, these steps are same to two styles of samplers.From the result of the analyses to the leaf samples collected in Beijing many cognition the most people have had were corroborated. And some conclusions, which have nearly reported or are very especial, have been educed, such as, the abilities to adsorb and accumulate POPs in different types of plant;some dissimilar trend to adsorb and accumulate POPs in bud-burst, et al. The results basing on the data of the soil samplers collected in the national nature reserve of Wolong, Sichuan province show us the status quo of the local pollution. And many primary conclusions have been obtained, including the source of the local pollution and some evidences of cold condensation. These are propitious to research the long-distance transfers of POPs in the future.
