In recent years, scientists in the world pay great attention on the research ofnanomaterials and the relate fabrication technologies. The interest in nanoscale materialsstems from the fact that new properties are acquired at this length scale and, equallyimportant, that these properties change with their size or shape. Lots of policies were putforward to synthesis of these materials. However, no matter which policy, some factors suchas cost, scale, reaction condition, state of product must be considered.Under appropriate conditions, surfactants in oil water systems will self-assemble intonano-scale aggregates of surfactant molecules surrounding a fluid core. These microemulsiondroplets can be used as "nano-reactors" for the synthesis of a variety of materials, includingmetal, semiconductor, or polymer nanoparticles. In this paper we combine microemulsiontechnology and solvothermal technology to put forward a new effective method to fabricatenanomaterials. In this paper, we have successfully synthesis Au, PbS, BaWO4, BaMoO4 nanocrystalsthrough a facile surfactant-assist solvothermal method. We can easily obtain the product withdifferent size and shape through change the reaction parameters such as, temperature, surfactant concentration, "w", and so on. The products have a high yield and a narrow sizedistribution. The simplicity of the process and the mild condition it calls for may prove usefulin future study related to this field.
