The paper has introduced several fluorophores and some well-informed receptors and reviewed the progress of fluorescent probe for nitric oxide simply. Two series of naphthalimide derivatives as nitric oxide probe was designed and synthesized at the base of vicinal diamines.1. N-(3,4-diamine- phenyl)-4-amino-l,8- naphthalimide and N-(3,4-triazole-phenyl)-4-amino-l,8- naphthalimide were designed and synthesized. At the same time, their spectrum studies and detect for nitric oxide were investigated.These fluorescent probes abopted the vicinal diamine as receptor and naphthalimide as fluorephore. The compounds have the weak fluorescence themselves, but they could yield the highly green fluorescence due to the PET after they binded with nitric oxide. Because the electron of nitrogen were binded, the PET was blocked. The fluorescence quantum efficiencies are increased more than 90 times. They have the advantage of specificity, sensitivity and practicability.2. At the base of past work, we adopted peri-amine as receptor. They taked advantage of ICT mechanism to detect nitric oxide.These compound adoped naphthalimide as fluorephore and peri-amine as receptor. The fluorescence quenced quickly after they binded with nitric oxide. The color changed obviously They could become the two-channel probe for nitric oxide.
