The improvement of the veracity of simulation and the definition of the chemical engineering process design is not only important for flow design and the production, but also important for reducing the experiment consuming and avoiding the safety hidden problems. HYSYS simulation system is one of the most popular chemical engineering simulation software. It has a lot of merits such as easy to operate, strong function, precise simulation and so on. It is one of important tools for the complicated chemical engineering process simulation, which can accurately simulate almost all the complicated chemical engineering flow.However, the disadvantages are obvious when the software is applied to simulate the membrane separation flow. For example, the permeate side pressure can not be changed and it can not simulate the membrane separation aiming at different flow patterns. These disadvantages limit the application of HYSYS in designing gas membrane separation flow. As to these problems, this paper adds the permeate side pressure in the mathematic models existed in HYSYS, and it establishes mathematic models for the three kinds of membrane modules, simplifys the models and embeds the models into HYSYS to establish membrane separation cells in HYSYS for different flow pattern and different flow guide.The paper mainly includes:Firstly, it studies HYSYS's gas separation module, discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the module via simulation of the vapor recovery of the gasolene.Secondly, aiming at the different flow patterns and different oriented flow of plate membrane module, spiral wound membrane module and hollow fiber membrane module, this paper establishes different mathematic models for different membrane modules. This paper solves each of the mathematic models, and validates the results.Thirdly, this paper validates the mathematic models, and embeds the mathematic models of different membrane modules in HYSYS simulation system.Besides, this paper uses the gas membrane module in HYSYS to simulate the project in industry, and design the start working project. The project has obtained the authentication.In conclusion, this paper provides theoretical ground for performance analysis of membrane seperation modules in the flow design. The simulation software, as an effective membrane separation simulation software, can avoid complicated experiments and greatly reduce the technique risks in designing a new technological process.
