Industrial water demand has been increasing progressively with the development of industrial production, and 80% of industrial water is cooling water. However, the scale and jamming problems of industrial recycling cooling water made heat transfer reduced, and it led to the problems of scale and corrosion. In order to decrease the equipment corrosion, to improve its availability, to economize energy & water and to insure the normal proceed of production, all kinds of water quality stabilizing agent should be added to industrial recycling cooling water. There were two water-quality stabilizing methods for traditional treatment technology: acid water treatment with phosphor and organic recipe treatment. The former would pollute environment badly because of high phosphor, and the latter had normal effect on industrial recycling cooling water with high cost. With the purpose of solving the scale and corrosion problems of industrial recycling cooling water, to search after and study new technology unceasingly has been a fast developing subject. Therefore, the new subject about preparation and performance study of scale inhibitor and dispersion was made in this paper.The subject adopted polymerization method on the basis of new research findings about water quality stabilizing medicament, which was different from traditional ways. Scale inhibitor and dispersion mechanism was deeply studied, and experiment influencing factors were analyzed synthetically. In the experiment, qualitative and quantitative relationship between the scale inhibiting effect and polymerization ratio as well as the optimization conditions of polymerization were found through study on monomer mixture ratio, monomer dosage, reaction initiator dosage, reaction initiator mixture ratio, reaction temperature, calcium ion concentration and interpolymer dosage.It was shown in the experiment: under the experimental conditions of 6% AMPP in the monomer gross, 10% reaction initiator dosage in the monomer gross and reaction temperature 80℃, interpolymer performance made was best, meanwhile, interpolymer ratio as well as scale inhibiting ratio to calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate were all above 92%, and luminousness of dispersing ferric iron oxide was less than 50%; The choice of reaction initiator affecting the scale inhibiting effect and polymerization ratio was dominating of all the factors. Product with high polymerization ratio could be got with FeSO4 — H2O2 reaction system; scale inhibitingeffect was increased remarkably with a little (NH4)2S2O8 and NaH2PO2 ? H20; product with good synthetically performance could be got with the optimal reaction initiator mixture ratio; Best experimental conditions: monomer gross 15g, MA:AMPS:AMPP was 10:4:1; reaction initiator mixture ratio: 0.8g FeSO4+10ml H2O2+2.5g Na3PO2; dropping 1-1.5h; constant temperature reaction 4h; reaction temperature 80°C. It's feasible to initiate MA/AMPS/AMP by oxidation-reduction system of sodium hypophosphate and superoxide with water solvent. Scale inhibitor and dispersion made in the experiment had good inhibiting effect on calcium phosphate scale, and ferro ion stability was improved obviously. At the same time, it could inhibite corrosion to some degree. MA/AMPS/AMP had better scale inhibiting and dispersion performance in the industrial recycling cooling water with high hardness, high scale, and high pH.Besides the experimental study on MA/AMP S/AMPP, its performance testing study on was done, such as assessment on ferric iron oxide performance, static scale inhibiting performance, corrosion inhibiting test, dynamic simulation test, synthetic structure, interpolymer polymerization ratio and interpolymer scale inhibiting and dispersion performance. Finally, prospect and project of its industry application were proposed.
