In present, there are two main problems in red organic electroluminescent devices (OLED) doped by porphyrin compounds, namely, low photoluminescent yields of fluorescent dyes and poor energy transfer from host to guest. Based on above two problems, we investigate the influence of different substitutes of tetraphenylporphyrin zinc on fluorescent intensity and electroluminescent performances. Then, the host materials are changed from tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum to tetraphenylbiphenyldiamine compounds in order to achieve a more efficient energy transfer. These works help to accelerate the development of red electroluminescent materials and implement full-color display. The contents of this thesis are presented as follows: 1. The basic structure, the luminescent mechanism and the luminescent materials of organic electroluminescent devices are introduced in brief. And the research advances are summarized on tetraphenylporphyrin zinc used as guest (dopant) and tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum and tetraphenylbiphenyldiamine compounds used as host. 2. Five tetraphenylporphyrin zinc compounds with different substitutes are designed and synthesized. In addition, four tetraphenylbiphenyldiamine compounds are synthesized using a simple method. Then, 1HNMR, MS and Uv-Vis determine the structures of all these compounds. 3. The Uv-Vis spectra and fluorescence spectra are analyzed of the synthesized tetraphenylporphyrin zinc, tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum and tetraphenyl biphenyldiamine, and a reasonable explanation for their spectral differences is given. 4. The organic electroluminescent devices are prepared with tetraphenylporphyrin zinc as dopant and tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum as host. And we study the effects of different doping concentration of the same porphyrin and different porphyrin compounds of the same doping concentration on electroluminescent performances including electroluminescent spectra, color, luminance and efficiency. Then, the reasonable analyses are given by studying mechanism. 5. Organic electroluminescent devices are prepared with tetraphenylporphyrin zinc as dopant and tetraphenylbiphenyldiamine as host and the performances of the devices are analyzed. Then, organic electroluminescent devices are prepared with tetraphenylporphyrin zinc and tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum as dopants and tetraphenylbiphenyldiamine as host and the influence of different doping concentration of tris(8-hydroxylquinoline)aluminum on electroluminescent performances including electroluminescent spectra, color, luminance and efficiency are studied. Then, the reasonable analyses are given by studying mechanism.
