Water is valuable natural resources that mankind depends on for existence and social development. Under a situation that water resource is in great shortage and water environment is seriously polluted, reclaimed water has been one of the ways to solve water resource shortage that has received more and more attention. This paper has fully comprehended current situation and technical level of sewage recycling both at domestic and abroad. Based on the actual conditions of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) and according to the current water consumption and prediction of recent water consumption of the key district of the development zone, the sewage effluent flux of the key district is educed. According to required quantity of the reclaimed water for the industry, common building, house and so on in the key district, the constructing scale of the reclaimed water treating plant has been confirmed. The influent water quality of the reclaimed water plant is made certain according to the practical operating situation of the sewage treatment plant in BDA. According to requirement of water quality of reclaimed water for user in development zone, water quality standard of the reclaimed water plant is confirmed. Domestic and international engineering instance on reclaiming treatment of municipal sewage is combined, and the technical route of use CMF & O3 which is to disinfect, decolorize and deodorize the reclaimed water, is recommend. And the technical design and benefit analysis is carried out. The technical route of CMF & O3 has been proved to be suitable for the actual conditions of BDA in this paper, which is technically advanced, economical and practical, safe and reliable. As a result the technical route is feasible.
