The Development Of The Phase Change Stored Energy Material Specific Wax

Considering the international developing trend of new energy resource andthe domestic market demand of restored energy materials, this paper researched seriesphase change stored energy material specific wax, developed small and middle scaletechnology to produce them.With Nanyang petroleum wax as main raw material, we select the dewaxingmethods, dewaxing conditions and distillation range, determine the producetechnology of solvent dewaxing and decompression distillation, and investigatetheinfluence factor of phase change enthalpy. Through lots of experiments, wesuccessfully developed phase change stored energy material specific wax. The resultsof series experiment showed that all physical indexes of new products such asmelting point, phase change enthalpy can meet present domestic enterprise standards.Also the products have high content of normal paraffin, assembling carbondistribution and enthalgy value is higher than Japanese ones.In this paper small and middle scale technology to produce phase change storedenergy material specific wax were developed The results of experiments showed thatthe new technology can produce products with better quality, no "three wastes" cameinto being. Engineering application experiments of the phase change stored energymaterial specific wax produced by middle scale technology have been conducted atQinghua university, and the results showed that they have better technology stability,small phase change temperature difference and large phase change heat which canmeet technology requirement. Every property of the product is correspond to foreignproduct. The products were produced domestically with petroleum wax for the firsttime, so they fill a vacancy.The successful development of the phase change stored energy material specificwax has momentous significance to improve the research level of restored heatmaterials of our country, and to enhance the products addition value of petroleumwax.
