To adapt to the dress developmental needs of multi-type, small batch, short periods and high quality, apparel enterprises must have the MTM (made to measure and batch production) modern production form. Therefore, this paper studies the quick response sewing system of the multi-type and small batch dress production on MTM production form and applies a new-style streamline -module and hanger sewing streamline.The streamline-balancing problem is one of the importantaspects in designing apparel streamline and also is a very important aspect in this paper. Traditional streamline balancing problem only optimizes the single-objective neglecting the relationship with other objectives, and often deteriorates other objective value. From the angle of production management system, this paper considers the relationship of the objectives and studies the balancing problem of dress module and hanger sewing streamline by using the method of multiple-objective streamline balancing.The solving of the streamline balancing problem has the NP-hard character and there is no high-efficient and exactmathematics models to these large-scale balancing problems, further more, the operational research and the optimized theory are hard to get excellent results. So this paper adopts Genetic Algorithm to study the dress streamline balancing problem and gets the best results.Based on different balancing targets, the study builds three kinds of mathematics models about the streamline balancing problem and gives birth to the balancing model where you can get work property, work times, equipments of each working procedure, also you can get the height, the in-degree and the usher of each working procedure;hi order to express the order among these working procedures clearly, this paper also gives directional task picture of the dress streamline. Afterwards, based on these models and task picture, the study designs with special coding and decoding, adopts the operations of selection, crossover and mutation in Genetic Algorithm, and realizes the load smoothness of dress module and hanger production streamline. Thereinto, the paper consults the thought of greed design, splits the working procedure successfully, and figures out the difficulty of balancing design caused by the spitting property of the working procedure.By using the C language, the study compiles program and realizes the balancing design of the dress module and hanger streamline. Compared with other literatures and validated by example, it confirmed that this balancing design is correct and advanced. The balancing results are satisfactory. Compared with the traditional methods, the objectivity, the validity and thepracticability in solving the dress streamline-balancing problem have much improvement.
