This paper studies the transmissibility based on thecorner point geometry. Reservoir numerical simulation utilizednumerical methods to resolve and control oil-gas-waternumerical models for studying the orderliness of oil-gas-waterin the complex reservoirs. It is a resigned scheme for a new oilfield and a useful method for an old oil field in regulating andenhancing oil recovery. The widely used Cartesian grid hassome disadvantages in the description of the geologicallycomplex reservoirs, and in some cases finite differencemethods based on Cartesian grid cause significant gridorientation effects, especially it can not describe accuratelycomplex fluid flow near the fault. Under this situation, thispaper studies corner point geometry application in calculationof transmissibility. According to actual terra model, this paperestablishes three dimensional mathematical model, proposes aset of calculated formula of transmissibility based on cornerpoint geometry, the content of study follows: 1 , Establishingthree dimensional mathematical model base on corner pointgeometry, finally proposes a set of calculated formula oftransmissibility. 2, All programs are written in FORTRAN77language by the author himself. 3 , The feasibility of theproposed method is proved by numerical examples, expectedresults are obtained.
