Research On Polymer Flooding Adaptability And Profile Control Of Xingbei Non-main Force Oil Reservoir

Polymer flooding adaptability and profile control feasibility were discussed consideringgeologic information, experiment in lab, economy benefit. Polymer solution was made up byfresh water and diluted by sewage.Polymer flooding adaptability research of Xingbei non-main force oil reservoir wasresearched by physical simulation model. Firstly, polymer relative molecular weight with highoil recovery was choosen. according to reservoir parameter. Secondly, effect of injecting rate,slug size and viscosity on oil recovery were researched . Polymer flooding that has higherrelative molecular weight, bigger slug size and higher concentration can improve oil recoveryobviously. But injecting pressure increases unavoidably. Therefore all kinds of methods andmechanism to decrease pressure were discussed, especially using NS to decrease pressure byincrease relative permeability , and its mechanism was researched. The results showed that NSnot only can decrease pressure obviously, but also can increase oil recovery obviously It wasconcluded that Xingbei non-main force oil reservoir was suitable to use the choosen polymerflooding.Profile control agent phenolic resin dispensation was researched. A choice of profilecontrol agent component which is citric acid, polymer, urotropin and resorcin dosage wasmade by experiment in lab. Heat stability, compatibleness with stratum water, shear-bearingability of profile control agent was researched. Physical simulation experiment in lab usingprofile control agent was made. The results showed that oil recovery can be improved more if0.3 PV profile control agent was injected before polymer flooding. But because of the lowpermeability and high pressure, there are some difficulties in profile control before polymer flooding.Profile control before polymer flooding field test can be made if some ways of decreasingpressure can be used.
