Well test analysis is a system engineering, firstly we must have thoroughly studiedreservoir and set up model, after getting exact data ,we need scientific means to interpretatthem. At the moment, the more riped method include straight line analysis and type-curvematching technique ,but straight line analysis only has Horne,MDH,MBH,Song 1 and soon. The purpose of the paper is giving modern straight line analysis considering the actualdemand of oil field.Because every mathematical model can refect the geometric shape of a resevior, thedominant flow regimes in the plot of pressure derivative are very easy to identified anddifferent type-curve correspond to a different flow regime, all the flow rigimes can revealreservoir parameters, the technique consists of obtaining characteristic points intersection ofvarious straight line portions of the pressure and pressure derivative curve, slopes and startingtimes of these straight lines。these points, slopes and times are then used with appropriateequations to solve directly for permeability, wellbore storage and skin,A step by stepprocedure for calculating these parameters without type-curve matching for some differentcase is included in thise paper。the technique make technician easy to calculated theparameters。The paper draw some conclusion:The new technique is applicable to the interpretation of pressure drawdown and builduptests. I systematic study the typical mathematical model ,such as vertical well, naturallyfractured well and vertical fracture well, and give expression equations and feature in thediffirent characteristic flow lines of the pressure derivative curve, This technique isillustrated by several numerical examples。...
