In recent years, the demand of refrigeration equipment has been growing up. The result of it requires to speed up the production to satisfy the mark-demands. The disadvantages of using flame welding skill to joint accessories such as distributor and single joint welding, is with low equipment automation degree, leading to refrigeration fittings with low welding efficiency and quality, At the same time, using the flame as a heat source is harmful to workers. The method of induction brazing applies high frequency, intermediate frequency or power frequency inductive current as a heat source to weld workpieces. Compared with the flame welding, there are so many remarkable advantages, such as accurate control, local heat, heat quickly, high efficiency, environmental protection,low labor intensity the reason of which is heat generating by the workpieces itself. At present, the induction brazing skill has been widely used in automotive, aerospace, electronics and medicine and other fields and the prospect of application is bright.The purpose of this paper is to increase the quantity and quality of the distributor and single joint, improve the working environment and reduce the labor intensity of workers. A high degree of automation of induction brazing equipment with integration of tooling and heating system was designed, in which induction heating power is supplied as the welding heat source, and it finished automatic welding of the distributor and single joint. The equipment has high production efficiency, high pass rate, low energy consumption, simple operation, good working environment and stability,etc.In this paper, it has three parts:mechanical parts, hardware of control system part and software of control system part. The mechanical part adopts motor as the power source of the whole system with the help of the speed reducer and chain drive, drive all tooling and welding parts on the conveyor chain in continuous linear motion. Control system hardware unites the programmable controller (PLC) and touch screen (HMI) effectively, realizes the control of the whole system automatically, at the same time improve the automation of entire equipment, and reduce the labor intensity of workers. The control system software design through the total alarm program and manual/automatic switch procedure realize the control function of the equipment.
