Based on fine reservoir geological model, drawing on new technique theory and method, using dynamic survey data analysis, dynamic analysis of reservoir engineering and broad finereservoir numerical value modeling with dense gridding, this paper has done a general studyon residual oil distribution law of west block Wen13. Meanwhile with saturation contour mapof residual oil, its recoverable abundance contour map, concerning effective thickness contourmap with different flooding level, the article has also made a deepen understanding of residualoil so as to express it with quantification and visualization. Using planar block subdividingand vertical grading to estimate potential of residual oil and to get a fully understanding of itsformation, with which we have determined a leading measure for developing and also carriedout deployment study. The following are studying achievements and its innovation:As low permeable reservoir with startup pressure meets non-Darcy seepage, matchespresent studying theory and method for predicting distribution of weak precision residual oil, this paper suggests a water drive analysis theory under the control of inter heterogeneity, improves injection and output rate splitting, adjusts dynamic reservoir numerical modelingand enhances prediction accuracy of residual oil. After studying flood level classification, we have confirmed oil bearing saturationstandard with different flood levels. Using reservoir numerical modeling result, planar blocksubdividing and vertical grading statistics, we have got an accurate and effectiveunderstanding of residual oil distribution and its potential so as to settle a strong base fordeveloping and deploying.Startup pressure gradient varies greatly for different reservoirs in west block Wen13.Middle S35-7 has a long oil bearing interval and serious inter heterogeneity. Inter disturbing isthe main factor for residual oil formation. So the paper suggests subdividing development andconstructs a set of single well pattern for type II reservoir to meet fully developing. Formiddle S38 and S39, inter heterogeneity is relatively weak, development effective is good withhigh recovery and low potential, so we aim at further perfect well pattern to adjust it. Whilethe structure of west block Wen13 is very complicated, we focus on strip study to evaluatepotential for each strip and then to carry out perfect injection and recovery well patternaccording to their different potential. The predominant step for developing the potential of west block Wen13 is to subdivideits strata. But its special geological condition makes the cost of single well drilling too higheven to reach about 10000 thousand yuan, which confines drilling number. In order to reducedrilling cost and increase development profit, we have employed multi well developmenttechnique and saved almost 3000m drilling cost.
