The winding layer of RPMP mainly consists up to 90% quartzitic, oven-dried fillers (particulate-reinforced material). They do not contain any cement;instead the polyester resin brings about the bond between the fillers after curing, its main function is to bear the shearing force of section and bind the structure layer (the loading layer) together intactly in the meantime, make the pipe wall structure exert its whole function;thereby increase the stiffness, exalt the ability to resist deformation, lower the cost of glass fiber reinforced plastic mortar pipe in the meantime.The aggregates gradation of quartz sand fillers -the original winging layer reinforced material- is finer, which cause the superficial area of quartz sand accumulate greatly and be saturated by the resin difficulty, therefore, demand the quantity of resin is also more and the cost is hard to decline down.(1)For improving this kind of condition and make coarse aggregates (4mm~ 0.707mm) form skeleton, the paper confirm the rate of voids of the mixed aggregates by the method of vibrating test and the method of bulk density. On the basis of which, the grade of coarse aggregates is confirmed. The experimental results are validated through the theory calculation.(2)The reasonable ratio of coarse aggregates to fine aggregates is confirmed by the mathematics mold method and interrupted aggregate gradating experiment.(3) The mechanism of the particle filler to build up the strength and toughness in the resin matrix composite materials and its crazing resistance is studied. According to the theory of soakage, the basic theory to aggregate Grading test of the quartz sand is confirmed. Analyzing the possibility to lower of the resin content and giving the basis and the principle of the rational ratio;(4)Through the mechanics performance test for the resin and the quartz sand casting body, We can acquire the relations between the mechanics performance and the reasonable ratio of coarse aggregates to fine aggregates, therefore find out the more excellent gradation to ensure not to lower the bend strength of winding layer.In conclusion, this paper introduced Aggregate Grading Research on Particulate Reinforced Composite (resin and quartz sand composite), and observed the state of surface for winding layer test sample and its mechanical property under different aggregate gradation through test. The results showed the following: We can obtain the prior way of aggregate gradation with right ratio of large particle quartz sand andsmall particle quartz plate, which can lower the quantity of resin from 20-25% to 12-14%, lower the cost, improve the economy profits, and ensue not to lower bend strength of winding layer in the meantime timeo...
