Zhalong Wetland Function Assessment And Ecological Water Requirment Research

Zhalong Wetland lies to the southeast of Qiqihar city.The distance between them is about 26km. Zhalong Wetland's geographical position is 46° 48'~47° 31.5' north latitude, 123° 51.5' —124° 37.5'east longitude, and its total area is 2100km~2.Zhalong Wetland is one of the earliest wetlands listed to in the international important wetland register, It's also a extremely important home for Red-crowned crane. But in recent years, as the human's activities continually increase, Zhalong Wetland's ecology gradually changes worse.Hydrogeomorphic assessment can assess many wetland functions in a large region.It selects suitable real wetland condition as a criterion, and according to this, it builds a model to measure wetland's functions.This paper assess the ecology of Zhalong wetland according to four main index, including water storage quantity, pollution, birds community diversity and the cover area of reed. The main process and results are as follows:1. Calculation of water storage in Zhalong Wetland with datum on hand. In the course of calculations, we separate water storage in river from that in swamps.its result expressed by matrix xu is as follows:xu= (639.10, 590.37, 557.18, 581.30, 189.80, 173.59, 669.95, 262.88, 453.43, 415.18, 214.13, 203.91, 199.06) (unit: ×10~6m~3) .2. Calculation of pollution in Zhalong Wetland. We choose synthetical pollution index as assessment target.Its result is expressed by matrix wu:wu= (25.2, 24.1, 21.1, 22.3, 22.0, 86.4, 80.1, 39.3, 24.5, 23.2, 32.3, 46.8, 35.3) .3. Analysis of birds' characters and calculation of birds' diversity index-Shannon. Its result is expressed by matrix niao:niao= (2.879, 2.862, 2.611, 2.677, 2.598, 2.583, 2.399, 2.583, 2.529, 2.558, 2.425, 2.578, 2.537) .4. With HGM and AHP, we assessed Zhalong Wetland's four main zoology indexes and confirmed its zoology change in 1985-1997.Acording to the connection between waterstorage and zoology, we determined Zhalong Wetland's the minimum, suitable and maximum ecological water requirement.
