The Study On Reactive Distillation Of Methyl Acetate Synthesis With Solid Acid Catalyst

As the early work to build the new art of reactive distillation synthesis of methyl acetate,the reactive distillation process was simulated using Pro â…¡ software.The main work is as followings:The kinetics of the synthesis of methyl acetate was measured in a batch stirred reactor with C100 cation exchange resin as catalyst.The influence of the quanlity of the catalyst ,and the reactive temperature of the esterification were studied.According to the kinetic data,the mathematic model was obtained by nonlinear regression.Theses provided basic data for the simulation and calculation of the process of catalytic distillation.The process of experiment was analysted using Pro â…¡ simulation software,and the experiments were carried out in a vitreous column of 40mm in diameter. Seeing about the effect of reflux ratio,feed stage on the concetration of methyl acetate of top production.
