The traditional process of making methyl acetate has eliminate due to its high energy consumption and corrosion.And replaced by a reactive distillation proces with solid acid catalyst.But the eflect of this process acetic acid extraction is limited,high purity methyl acetate getting via reactive distillation process still needs to improve.For getting high purity methyl acetate,this paper developed a synthesis of methyl acetate new technology,wich coupled reactive distillation and absorption process,using the vertical mass transfer tray reactive distillation column,the catalyst is placed on the trays of the reaction section,using 4A molecular sieve dehydration.By reactive distillation experiments,liquid-liquid equilibrium experiments,and adsorption experiments and using the Aspen Plus to do the simulation and optimization,get a suitable operating conditions,at the same time estimate its economic practicality.The results shown that:the operating conditions of the reactive distillation the number of theoretical plates of rectifying section,suitable extraction section,the reaction section and stripping section is 4,2,45 and 20 respectively,The reflux ratio is 1.1,the operating pressure is normally pressure,methyl acetate,methanol molar feed ratio of 1.1:1.Under this condition,the overhead temperature of 59.6?,overhead condensed power 260kW;the bottom temperature was 92?,reboiler heat power 177kW.The methyl acetate moisture content is 2.01%,and the bottoms is water contained 37%methanol.Using 4A molecular sieve adsorption to dehydrate,the operating temperature is 30?,adsorption equilibrium line qm=0.950c/(1+4.823 c),the operating line is x=0.0785c,mass transfer zone length is 0.2m,mass transfer unit height is 0.11m,number of transfer units is 1.8,the mass transfer coefficient is 1.14 × 10-5/s,molecular sieve analytical method using thermal regeneration,the regeneration temperature of 150?,the regeneration time is 5h.After estimating the energy consumption,using new techniques distillation and adsorption coupling synthesis of methyl acetate is a effective way,each ton of methyl acetate need the costs is 208 yuan.
