Quality Control Of Several Traditional Chinese Medicines With Thin Layer Chromatography

Hospital preparations of Chinese medicines are usually made from the hospital's lab according to the clinical demand with the specialty of supporting result. But their compositions are often unstable and hard to produce on large scale. In order to improve the preparations' effectiveness and safety, quality standards for these preparations must be made strictly.In this thesis, the primary elements in 15 kinds of preparations have been studied by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), including Mahuang,FuIing in Zhisou powder, Dahuang, Huanglian and Bingpian in Niuhuang powder, Houpo and Muxiang,Dingxiang in Wuxiang powder, Shanzha and Fuling in Ganji powder, Baizhu, Huangqi and Fuling in Zhixie powder, Huangqi, Danshen and Danpi in Qinggong powder, Houpo in Weiling powder, Shanzha and Baizhu in Xiaoshi Wan, etc. These qualitative methods established for the preparations were simple, rapid and specifiable, and could be used for the quality control when these preparations were produced.
