With the development of information, intelligence and network, NC engraving machine is widely used in various areas. NC engraving machine, based on the embedded system, is also rapidly developed in a great diversity of ways.With in-depth study of embedded system and NC engraving machine, the author proposes an overall scheme for NC engraving machine based on ARM, and as well, sets up a hardware platform based on S3C44B0X and a software platform based on μC/OS- II. The control system is designed by module, which includes CPU core module, memory modules, debugging interface modules, data transmission module, human interface module, and electrical control module. This thesis mainly studies USB host systems and has realized read and write operation of the U disc. Based on deeply study on work principles and operating methods of PWM and AC servo motor, the author proposes the electrical control methods based on PWM. With modular design, practical software for system completes the task-management and scheduling and achieves the corresponding control functions based on μC/OS- II control system.
