The Study On The Applications Of Ionic Liquid In Organic Synthesis

In recent times, the use of room temperature ionic liquids as green solvents in organic synthetic process has gained considerable importance due to its negligible vapour pressure, solvating ability and easy recyclibility. Many reactions have been reported recently using ionic liquids as reaction media and as rate enchancers.Herein, we studied the applications of ionic liquid in organic synthesis:In the first chapter, we simply introduced the basic properties and preparation of ionic liquids, meanwhile, we reviewed the applications of ionic liquid in chemistry, especially in synthetic chemistry.In the second chapter, we studied the dealkyoxycarbonylation reaction in ionic liquid. [Bmin]Cl was used as both a "green", recyclable solvent and an efficient catalyst towards this reacion to provide a facile, efficient and environmentally begin method for the synthesis of mono-esters ,keto- or cyano- compounds. What's more, we found out that the reaction rate could be accelerated remarkably under microwave irradiation.In the third chapter, we developed the first utilization of amino acid based ionic liquid for the Cul-catalyzed coupling reaction of sulfinic acid salts and aryl halides to afford aryl sulfones. The results showed that [emim][Val] was an efficient ligand for this coupling reaction.
