Functional monomer, which has high affinity and selectivity for a certain template, plays important role for synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). In this thesis, vinyl-substituted zinc porphynn was employed as a functional monomer to synthesize the MIPs with the templates of benzoimidazole and tyrosine, respectively. The research results were summarized as follows:● The interaction between functional zinc porphyrin and imidazole derivatives was investigated by UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopies, cyclic voltammograms as well as quantum calculation. The results showed that the zinc porphyrin and imidazole derivatives could form 1 I 1 adduct. The Soret and Q bands of the zinc porphyrin were red-shifted in the presence of imidazole derivatives because of the flow of charge from the axial ligand to the porphyrin ring through the zinc ion. Electrochemical results showed all the complexes revealed two successive one-electron oxidations and a one-electron reduction. The equilibrium constants were determined at various temperatures to get the thermodynamic parameters to indicate the reactions were controlled by entropy.● MIPs based on zinc porphyrin were prepared for imidazole derivatives recognition when benzoimidazole was used as the template with the methacrylic acid as monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as crossing reagent and AIBN as initiator in imprinting reaction. The MIPs showed a high affinity and differential selectivity for closely related imidazole derivatives when the competitive bound method was used. The main factors that will influence the synthesis of MIPs are cooperation effect of coordinate and geometry-matching. Through the column bound method, the results showed the template recognition in water phase when tyrosine was used as template.● The polymer-supported zinc porphyrin was synthesized as the chromatography stuffing. It was found that the imidazole derivatives could be effectively separated by the chromatography column.
