Fungicide is a kind of substance that protect useful crops through preventing or eradicate virus. 1,2,4- triazole and triazolo thiadiazolo derivatives have received increasing interests in the agrochemical and pharmaceutical fields because of their unique and diverse potential biological properties .To get further information about their fungicidal activity, We investigate the reaction of 3-aryl-4-amino-5-mercapto-l,2,4 -s-triazoles with α -thiophaldehyde in the presence of absolute actonitrile and obtained ten Schiff bases of triazole and thiophene (2x1~2x10), and we investigate the reaction of 3-aryl-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-s-triazoles with p-methyl-benzoyl isothiocyanate in the presence of absolute actonitrile and obtained 38 3-aryl-6-benzoylamino-s-triazolo [3,4-b]-l,3,4-thiadiazoles(3cg1~3pg8). All the compounds have been characterized by IR, ~1HNMR, MS and elemental analysis. The properties of physical chemical and spectroscopy of these compounds are systematically investigated. The main structures of the target compounds were as follows:1. Schiff bases of triazole and thiophene(2x1~2x10)2. 3-aryl-6-(4-methyl-benzoylamino)-s-triazolo(3, 4-b)-1,3,4-thiadiazoles(3cg1~3cg10)3. 3 -aryl - 6 - ( 4 -methoxyl -benzoylamino ) -s -triazolo ( 3 , 4 -b ) -1 , 3 , 4 thiadiazoles (3ogl~3oglO)N-NN SK p HNCOCH34. 3-aryl-6-(4-chloro-benzoylamino)-s-triazolo(3,4-b)-l,3,4-thiadiazoles(3cIgl~3cIglO)N-NN SHN-CV-ci5. 3-aryl-6-arylamino-s-triazolo(3, 4-b)-l,3,4-thiadiazoles(3pgl~3pg8)N-NHN-C.-R1Then, we have tested the fungicidal activity of the compounds 2xl~2xlO,herbicid active of the compounds 3cgl~3pg8,and some of them exhibited a good activity as plant growth regulator.
