AC adsorption is a popular process in wastewater treatment , this dissertation applys AC to dispose 2,4-dichlorophenol and tests the condition of adsorption.According to the experiment, it's better at pH 2-6 and ACS can reach homeostasis after 7 hours.ACS are processed under various powers of microwave with different time. The pore structure, surface groups of both conventional and modified AC were tested. It is found that modified AC has little change in the surface, modest shrink on pore volume compared with the conventional AC.Iodine number and adsorption capability are both higher than conventional AC.The regeneration of AC saturated with 2,4-DCP using microwave is also studied. ACS are regenerated in a short time and the property are good. The rusult indicates that the time of regeneration doesn't matter to their adsorption capability. We find the optimization of regeneration after research. For the characters of selectivity, low energy and high efficiency, the method of regeneration by microwave has the extensive application prospect.
