Its particular superiority has been revealed in a good deal of high-technology realm. Friction welding has become a kind of the most dependable and reliant welding methods. Radial force friction welding is a kind of welding technics which accomplishes axial welding through radial force, and the real radial friction welding actualizes the welding of circumferential faces. The key technology of the friction welding is to find a way to clamp and hold steadily.The paper applies a finite-element software named Marc to carry on the three-dimensional nonlinear contact &friction finite-element analysis on the clamped model of radial friction welding, to analyse the stress of workpiece body and the transition bushing, and the relative displacement of both mainly. Fixing the force of workpiece body and the positive pressure of transition bushing respectively, the method of dichotomy is utilized to divide stresses into several districts, to change the value of the rest two stresses, to compare different changes of torque under different stresses.The results of calculation indicates: the force of workpiece body is O N, make the maximal torque which keep the workpiece body relative quiescent rise along with the rising of the positive pressure of transition bushing;when the workpiece body subject to the force, the maximal torque firstly rises then comes down along with the rising of the positive pressure of transition bushing when the workpiece body stays relative quiescent, the maximal torque rises again;when the stress of the transition bushing stays constantly) In the mass, the maximal torque comes down then rises along with the rising of the positive pressure of transition bushingwhen the workpiece body stays relative quiescent, the maximal torque comes down again;when the workpiece body subject to the force, not only stress concentration can be abated, but also could improve the state of the nonuniform distribution of stresses;when the workpiece body subjects to the high torque. The radial friction welding of the workpiece body could be welded easily, as the workpiece body subject to the force. The welding workpiece have the better authenticity.The study provides the theoretical governing for preventing the torque from twisting of radial friction welding clamped model and directs the erecting welding's technics of projectile. |
