LiMn2O4,LiCoO2,CoFe2O4, nanofibers were fabricated by combing sol-gel process andelectrospinning technique, using polyvinyl alcohol and several of inorganic salts as precursor. This method offered a brand-new way for fabricating one-dimensional inorganic compositenanomaterial. The morphology of fibers was discussed by adjusting conditions such as theconcentration of PVA, the capillary screen distance, and the voltage. As a result, withincreasing the concentration of PVA, the diameter of electrospun fibers increased. Bothincreasing the distance of collection and increasing the electrospinning voltage decreased thediameter of the fibers. The products were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM), infraredspectra(IR), raman shift(Raman), X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).All the results show that five kinds of favorite nanofibers with smooth surface, homogeneousdiameters of 50-150nm and uniform morphology were obtained. The magnetic measurementsindicated that the magnetic behavior of CoFe2O4 nanofibers was different from that of thepowders sample directly prepared by the conventional sol-gel method. The nanofibers incovercivity were larger than the powders, but the Ms were lower than the powders.
