With the development trend of globalization of world economy, the pressure to apply the advanced technologies is increasing in Petrochemical industries. It tends to satisfy the more and more rigorous requirements in products quality, production efficiency, consumption of energy, system safety as well as the concern with the environmental impact. The traditional PID control strategy is unable to solve the control problems of complex production processes with the multi-variable, highly non-linear and coupled with great time varying and delay. It leads to an imperative need to enhance research and development on new control strategies.In this paper, the primary cyclohexane distillation column D301 of cyclohexanol-cyclohexanone device in LYPC(Liaoyang Petrochemical company) of CNPC(China National Petroleum Corporation) is used as research subject, the soft sensor technique and advanced control tactics are studied, the advanced system of the primary cyclohexane distillation column is designed which is based on the soft sensor model, and solves the problem of process variable, which is closely connected with the quality of product can not be measured and optimized on line, and it reduces the consumption of energy as well as ensures the quality of production and recycling rate.At the first, the paper deals with the developing process of chemical process control and soft sensor technique.It studies the soft sensor methods of mechanism analysis, multivariable regression analysis and nerve network, set up fit soft sensor model;conducts the simulation MATLAB, comparing the reliability and extrapolation of each model;designs the simulation research of soft sensor adjusting model, making the model get reliable the preciseness of estimation, and it sets up the base for transmitting it into advanced control system. In order to apply soft sensor model to realizable work, the paper studies several advanced control theory of inferential control, decoupling control, expert control, saving energy control. It deals with thedisadvantage of the original control system and designs two minor systems, discuss the choice of the controlled subject, and control tactics and simulation experiment.In designing advanced control system, by setting logic control module, expert control module consisting composite control tactic based on inferential control, improving robustness of control system, strengthening the function of control system.
