| Zinc is used as the cathode material of the chemical power in the primary battery, not only the source is abundant, but also it has fine electrochemical property. But the poor circulation performance of zinc electrode limits the application in alkaline rechargeable battery because the zinc electrode is apt to erode, creat the zinc dendriteic, gage distortion in the alkaline electrolytic liquid. In this article, the way of metal electrodeposition was adopted to prepare alloy zinc powder. At the same time the superficial modification to the alloy zinc powder was carried on, and the multi- components organic chemical additives were added in the alkaline electrolyte to improve the performance of the electrode.The dual, ternary and quarternary alloy zinc powder of Zn, Pb, Bi, In were prepared by using the negative electrodeposition in the chloride electrolyte system in this paper. Through the Linear Sweep Voltammetry, Chronoamperometry and permanent current charge and discharge test, ect. The results indicate that in 6mol/LKOH solution, the corrosion current of the galvanic deposit zinc electrode is 2.000×10-4A, but the corrosion current of zinc base alloy electrode which joined the metallic elements to form the electrolysis alloy Zn-Pb-In-Bi is 0.796×10-4 A, reduced the corrosion degree of zinc electrode in the lye about 60%. Moreover the electrolysis alloy zinc powder has higher electrochemistry activeness, the highest capacity achieves 277mAh/g, but the highest capacity of ordinary zinc powder by hot process preparation is 251.6 mAh/g. The experiment shows that the overall performance of the quarternary alloy Zn-Pb-In-Bi and the ternary alloy zinc powder Zn-Bi-In by electrolysis is best.After joining ZFD, the corrosion current of zinc electrode is reduced from 2.144×10-4A to 1.054×10-3A, the corrosion degree of zinc electrode is reduced about 80%. The cathode polarization method of permanent potential was adopted, the growth degree of zinc dendriteic is reduced about 79%, at the same time the circulation performance of zinc electrode is improved.The research discovered, the circulation performance of zinc electrode can be improved remarkably by forming micro capsule on the zinc powder surface.
