With the increase of the installed capacity in coal-fired power plants of China, the discharge of sulfur dioxide among flue gases has been increasing accordingly, causing the yearly gradual and severe contamination to the atmosphere. As a result, it is a must to take measures to control the discharge. My paper is based on the idea of the typical technique and the former experience of desulfurization from the coal-fire power plant. established the simulated experiment system focused on the limestone-gypsum wet gas desulfurization with the main equipment-the turbulent ball tower and again we've researched on the factors that affect the desulfurization, especially on the problem of scale formation.
