Phosphorized copper is a kind of metal phosphide, mainly used in the production of deoxidization agent welding flux, and it is also used in the manufacture of positive pole of electroplate and micro-elctronic circuit, etc. Phosphorus chemical and non-ferrous metal chemical are two of the major industries in Yunnan Province that are aimed to develop and foster. Phosphorus and copper resources and techniques advantages are available in Yunnan, providing good conditions to carry out the production of phosphorized copper. This article provides theoretical analysis of the production of phosphorized copper, based on the discussion of the production principles of the production of phosphorized copper. As for the production plant, after long-time investigation and trial, dehydration yellow phosphorus is used as raw material, and Cu-P is synthetised by induction heating under the help of catalyst, with a small amount of escaped P is recycled as H3P04, Cu-P is granulated. The goal of clean process is acquired, due to the fast reaction speed, high Precycling proportion and good production environment, showing high production safety during the procedure. After profound and thorough study of the reaction mechanism, and new development process being acquired, and optimization of production of technological control index, the goals of high-purity product and good appearance are realized. The quality matches that of Japanese products of the same sort. Meanwhile, the consumption of raw materials and auxiliary materials and energy is low, promoting China' s Cu3P production process and equipment, and filling gaps in manufacturing of metal phosphides in Yunnan Province.
