Starches as the materials of chemical industry have more advantagessuch as cheap, regeneration, abundance, biodegradability, green protectionetc than the oil chemical materials. They are one of the most importantreproduction resources. Dextrin is one of the most important derivations ofstarches.Dextrin as important starch derivatives has been widely applied to thevarious aspects of industrial production, such as Pharmaceutical industry,food, paper making, casting, labels, postage, etc. In recent years, followingin-depth research in wastewater treatment, coating technologies,macromolecular resin, selection of metal ores have also been widerapplications.Dextrin had very broad meaning, starch degradation product of thedifferent methods all called dextrin, industrial production dextrin includedthree categories, malt-dextrin, cycl-dextrin and hot-cracked dextrin. Thestudy of this article is hot-cracked dextrin that is the use of dry process ofpreparation from starch degradation products . Hot-cracked dextrin can bedivided into White dextrin , Yellow dextrin and British gel, the basicproduction processes of White dextrin and Yellow dextrin are similar. Sothe experiments focused on the White dextrin production processes.All in maize starch as raw materials by dry process of preparation produced theWhite dextrin. The article discussed the factor of influencing white dextrin quality.Product viscosity of impact followed by acid type , the reaction temperature, reactiontime and hydrochloric consumption. Best processes parameters of the white dextrinpreparation was test by single factor . It can achieve the intended purpose of testingthat hydrochloric acid as catalyst reaction , reaction temperature of 120 degrees,response time 45min and 0.1% of hydrochloric account for starch quality. Through thetechnological conditions industrial production chieved better, products viscosity (20%)is 9 m.pas , white degree is 86.55 and solubility is 53.12%.
