Study On Ecoenvironment Restoration In Huhehot City

The paper, based on the analysis of current situation of ecological environment al conditions and causes for the ecological environment deterioration, revealel that the decrease in vegetation coverage and the extinction of hative dominting species were the main causes for the ecological environment deterioration in Huhhot area. Among the main causes of environment deterioration, unsound expansion of farmlands, field, extensive management, overgrazing and excessive reclamation are the main reasons. The paper analyzes local quality of ecological environment using fragility indexes of ecological environment and deems loess hilly area and windy desert area are serious fragile zone; analyzes the key factors that lead to ecological environment deterioration using principal components analyzing and deems that excessive density of population and poverty are the key social factors, downpour and decrease in vegetation coverage are the main natural factors. The correlation between them is as follow: traditional management ways of agriculture and animal husbandry damage natural vegetation, result in decrease in vegetation coverage and lead to disaster. So improving vegetation coverage is effective ways to prevent against runoff and wind disaster. Adjusting agricultural construction and protecting natural vegetation is effective ways to conserve water and soil in Huhhot Area. Based on the experiences of WuChuan county s ecology restoration and demonstration, the paper puts forward ecology restoration measures of semiarid Daqing mountain.
