The increasing progress of chemical industry ensures substance for people's standard of living, but at the same time it makes a mass of pollutants. The method of photocatalysis with TiO2 catalyst was not only used in the filed of dealing with pollutants, but also had some potential in the field of chemosynthesis, because it was usually conducted at normal temperature and normal pressure for chemosynthesis without second pollutants. Basic on this point, this passage choose the reaction-Photosysthesis of MeOH through Carbon dioxide and H2O as target reaction, then discuss the effect of different Photocatalysts to the target product -MeOH. This paper works on following areas:(1) The paper adapt different making methods to product three different types of catalysts. It goes as follows : a series of Cu/TiO2 catalysts; a series of Cu/n-p mixed semiconductor catalysts and a series of Cu/La2O3-NiO catalysts. Then we use XRD patterns and TEM images to discuss the characteristics of these different types of catalysts.(2) The paper also discuss the effect of different Photocatalysts to the target reaction . Firstly, the paper decide the best wt% of Cu in the Cu/TiO2 catalysts , Cu/n-p mixed semiconductor catalysts and Cu/La2O3-NiO catalysts, respectively. Secondly , basic on the first point ,we discuss the effect of different photocatalysts to the target reaction on two points : the best catalyst weight and the best radiation time. Then , the paper also discuss the influence of UV light radiation to the target reaction. The results are: the best catalysts are 2% Cu/TiO2 catalysts , 0.5% Cu/n-p mixed semiconductor catalysts secondly and 0.5% Cu/La2O3-NiO catalysts are the worst among these three types of catalysts. Also ,the paper give a conclusion of influence of UV light radiation to the target reaction, it tells us that only with the radiation of UV light ,the reaction can be processed.(3) The paper give more discussion on the Cu/n-p mixed semiconductor catalysts and Cu/La2O3-NiO catalysts.
