Biodiesel is received increasing attention as an alternative, non-toxic, biodegradable and renewable diesel fuel. In this article, the immobilization of lipase and process of biodiesel production are investigated. The works are listed as follow:The immobilization of LVK-H lipase in kaolin and the sodium alginate gel spheres was studied. The effects of different categories of sorbent, pH value of phosphate buffer solution, the concentration of sodium alginate, the concentration of calcium chloride, the amount of lipase and metal ions on activity of immolibized lipase were also researched. The result showed that the maximum immobilized lipase activity of 136u/g was obtained at the following conditions: the ratio of kaolin to lipase being 4:1, pH value of phosphate buffer solution being 8.0, concentration of sodium alginate being 2%, concentration of lime chloride being 20%.An enzyme-column reactor was developed to carry out the...
