The fermentative production of lycopene by Blakeslea trispora is studied in this thesis.Due to the decline of the viability of B. trispora, a convenient inoculation method is firstly established, and the growth condition of B. trispora spores is optimized. As a result, when B. trispora is maintained on slants of potato extract for 3 days at 28℃, and then for 2 days at 18℃, the spores of B. trispora can be grown very well. At the meantime, the spores can be grown even better on the condition of light and oxygen. In addition, by adopting the direct and stable convenient fermentation progress, the yield of lycopene increased, on the other hand, the period of fermentation shortened. The period is 5 days, and the optimal time of the blocking agent addition is 60th hour. The influence of Trisporic Acid (TA) and its analogs on lycopene fermentation is studied, and the optimal addition quantities of these chemical regulators are determined. The effect of TA is the most prominent, its optimal addition quantity is 2 μg/(100mL medium). The yield of lycopene increases...
