Urea is one of the most important nitrogen-based fertilizers and industrial material in the world. Although it has been long time since urea industry developed and much work has been done on urea process simulation, the basic theory and industry application related to urea synthesis system are still studied extensively by more researchers, and now it has been an important academic research region in chemical engineering. With the energy crisis and the severer environmental pollution, more and more researches are attached on the urea process to develop the basic industry. It is an important research subject direction of the fertilizers industry of researching the flowsheet simulation on urea production process, seeking the optimized operation condition, increasing the benefit of the urea production, lowering raw materials and energy costs, and reducing waste generation.Based on the thermodynamic model of the extended UNIQUAC equation for ACWU system, the vapor-liquid equilibrium of ACWU system in the range of medium-pressure and high-pressure is simulated in this paper. According to the analysis of the complex physics property of urea synthesis system, the enthalpies model is proposed to predict the behavior of the thermal balance of Urea synthesis reactor. Here a reliable mathematical model is established and the simulation program is developed on urea synthesis reactor.
