High speed lapping of the hyperpolic work-piece with the lapping tool designed by bending forming method is a new method. This article has established the mathematics model of the bending forming method through mechanics and the advanced mathematic knowledge, and deduced width expression of the lapping tool under the condition of each kind executing carries.The design plan of the lapping tool is optimized according to the theoretical analysis. A kind of the lapping tool system for manufacturing the hyperpolic work-piece has been designed, which has simple structure, low manufacturing cost, wide application fields , high forming precision, and is easy to operate.The experiment of bending of the lapping tool has indicated that the precision of the lapping tool is very high, the average error achieves 0.0269mm. the experiment results of lapping indicate that the lapping tool designed by bending method can be used to lap hyperpolic work-piece, and the average contour error of lapping the plastic work-piece is 0.0255mm, and the average contour error of lapping metal work-piece is 0.0272mm, which further implies that the processing efficiency has been improved dramatically and cost has been reduced significantly.
