| Semi-conducting glass is suitable for making microchannel electron multipliers, conducting faceplates, printer fibers, and electro-optical devices. It's importance to research semi-conducting glass. In this paper a series of Fe2O3-V2O5-P2O5 glass has been prepared. Glass formation range, glass formation capability, the effect of glass electrical conductivity produced by interaction between Fe2+/Fe3+ and V4+/V5+ and concentration of V2O5 in glass, the relation between glass electrical conductivity and temperature, the relation among coefficient of thermal expansion, glass composition and annealing curve, the relation among chemical stability, glass composition and annealing curve had also been investigated. Results showed that Fe2O3 — V2O5 — P2O5 glass's optimization composition is: P2O5/V2O5 ratio is 23, Fe2O3 is from 030 mol%, Al2O3 is from 010 mol%, Sb2O3 is from 05 mol%. |
