In chapter 1 of this paper, materials, polymer materials, organometallic polymer materials, chain copolymerization, organometallic copolymers, organometallic copolymers'coordinate complex and organometallic polymeric magnetic materials is simply introduced. The definition, classification and character of chain copolymerization and the factors influencing the molecular weight and relative ingredients of the polymer chain is detailed.The second chapter introduces the synthesis of 1,1'-diacetyl ferrocene, 1,1'-bis(1-hydroxyethyl)ferrocene and 1,1'-divinylferrocene from ferrocene. Then 1,1'-divinylferrocene is used to make copolymers with acrylonitrile, acrylamide, ethyl vinyl ether, acrylic acid, maleic acid, methyl acrylate or ethyl acrylate through radical polymerization and cationic polymerization respectively. The radical copolymers include poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-acrylonitrile), poly(1,1'-divinyl fer rocene-co-acrylamide), poly(1,1'-divinyl ferrocene-co-ethyl ethenyl ether), poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-acrylic acid), poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-maleic acid), poly (1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-methyl acrylate), and poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-ethyl acrylate). The cationic copolymers are poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-ethyl ethenyl ether), poly(1,1'-divinylferrocene-co-methyl acrylate) and poly(1,1'-divinyl ferro cene-co-ethyl acrylate). Then these copolymers are used to make corresponding coordinate complexes with some salts which containing transition metal cations...
