In this dissertation, we stated the recent development of solid acid and the appliance of solid acid in isomerization reaction . We studied the isomerization of terpenic compounds such as p-pinene, limonene and turpentine catalysted by solid superacids, and the isomerization of endo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene catalysted by AlCl3 catalyst and co-catalyst.Firstly, in the presence of solid superacid catalyst, the isomerization of p-pinene could proceed smoothly even at a normol pressure and relatively low temperature. Using S2O82-/ZrO2 and S2O82-/TiO2 catalyst, the effects of reaction temperature, reaction time and the use level of catalyst on the isomerization of p-pinene were discussed. In the end, we obtained the optimal reaction conditions for P-pinene isomerization. The reaction mechanism of P-pinene isomerization was discussed. The structures, particle size, surface area and the acidity of solid superacids were determined and analyzed by IR, TEM, BET, and acid indicator. The structures of the main products camphene were characterized by boiling point determination, IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectra.Secondly, the isomerization of limonene was catalyzed by five kinds of solid superacids such as S2O82-/ZrO2-La2O3, S2O82-/ZrO2-Y2O3, S2O82-/ZrO2-Dy2O3, S2O82-/ZrO2-Nd2O3 and S2O82-/ZrO2-Al2O3. It had been found that rare earth solid superacid S2O82-/ZrO2-Y2O3 and solid superacid S2O82-/ZrO2-Al2O3 had strong activity. The main conducts of limonene isomerization were α -terpinene and terpinolene. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, the mass percent of rare earth oxide Y2O3 and metal oxide Al2O3 in carrier, and the use level of catalyst on isomerization of limonene were discussed. In the end, the optimal conditions of limonene isomerization were obtained. The structures and the acidity of solid superacids were determined by IR and acid indicator. We also studied the reuse and the revivification of the catalyst S2O82-/ZrO2-Y2O3 and S2O82-/ZrO2-Al2O3.Thirdly, we researched the isomerizalion of turpentine in the presence of solid superacid.
