This thesis introduces the situation of fire in our country, the relationship between economic development and fire posture, the development of fire-safety science, the fire performance-based design, the city fire, the analysis of fire stastistics, and so on.Based on the fire statistics data from 1993 to 2004, the fire postureare in our country is divided into three different phases by using the main element analytical method, introduced the characteristics in three different phases, and discussed influence of state economy and policy on the fire posture.Based on the fire statistics data from 1993 to 2004, the relationship between number of fires and fire causees are studied by gray correlationship analytical method. The influencing sequence is that electric fire, inadvertent using fire,smoke, incorrect operation, undefined reson, playing with fire, arson, other reason and self-ignition. Number of fires and primary fire damage are predicted by using the gray method, the result is number of fires and primary fire damage has the increasing trend.The relationship between primary fire damage and GDP, and the development trend about ratio of primary fire damage and GDP with years are analysised, the results are that primary fire damage and GDP is linear increasing and the ratio of primary fire damage and GDP is descending and trends to smoothness by the time.
