Study On Health Assessment Of Longhe River Watershed Ecosystem Based On Ecosystem Service

This paper takes the basic principle of ecosystem ecology and watershed ecology as the theoretical foundation of the dissertation. It mainly studies two aspects: first, doing value estimation of ecosystem services function in order to know the leading ecosystem services function and total price of Longhe river watershed; second, doing ecosystem health assessment of the watershed so that have the coparatively qualitative and quantitative knowledge of ecosystem health condition of the watershed. In the ecosystem health assessment, it consults some thought of economic geography, following the principle of servicing people, from the three aspects of society, economy, ecosystem, examing the ecosystem health condition of Longhe river watershed, and puts forward an idea that to measure a healthy ecosystem is not only from the angle of pure nature and pure ecology, buty also must consider the level of economy development and the level of maturation of social humanities.This paper through practical investigation into the present condition of Longhe river watershed, on the basis of the principle of ecological economics ang resource economics, apply the Market-value method, the Shadow-project method, the Asset-cost method and many other estimation methods of ecosystem xervices function to estimate the value of ecosystem services function of Longhe river watershed. Caculate the total price of the ecosystem services function of Longhe river watershed which is 1 billion 4 hundred and six million 8 hundred thousand Yuan. It includes that material produce is 7 hundred and 83 million 4hundred thousand Yuan; entertainment and tourism is 96 million Yuan; supplying water resource is 2 hundred and 53 million Yuan; culture and scientific research is 3 million 5 hundred thousand Yuan; water quality purity is 13 million 2 hundred thousand Yuan; regulating and storing floodwater and controlling flood and revetment is 7 million 5 hundred thousand Yuan; fixing CO2 and releasing O2 is 86 million and 7 hundred thousand Yuan; creature habitat is 1 hundre million 5 hundred thousand Yuan.
