As an important parameter of fluorescent material, quantum efficiency and fluorescent color plays a key role in scientific research and material fields. Fluorescent color measurement is based on the technology of quantum efficiency. The measurement method and conditions are different when they are used in different applications. For adapting new requests, a fluorescent quantum efficiency and colorimetry system are established in National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China. A systemic research is carried out on the premise of this in this dissertation.This dissertation aims at the systemic fundamental experiment research on the method of the measurement of quantum efficiency and color of fluorescent materials, which would provide the basis for the improvement of the device, establishing the standard setup of the measurement and the traceability of quantum efficiency and color of fluorescent materials under 45 °/0 ° and 0°/D conditions.The main contents of this dissertation are that, series of accessories and plans made to measure the absolute quantum efficiency and color of fluorescent materials on the relative instrument. The methods of data processing of experiment results are also discussed, and uncertainty of the system is particularly analyzed. In this research, three creative views are included.The result of comparisons with overseas published data, not only quantum efficiency but also color of fluorescent materials, shows that the relative deviation in this dissertation are within the uncertainties.
