Stability classification becomes qualitative and quantitative aggregative model based on many factors and index from single factor qualitative model for entry surrounding rock at home and abroad. Despite it is different in application and emphases of primary rock mass quality classification methods, its purposes are reflecting complexity of project rock mass structure quantitatively and providing reference gist for surrounding rock stability evaluation and support parameter. But these aggregative classification methods are against all surrounding rock. The entry surrounding rock is divided into several classes. It has rather large difference for a kind surrounding rock, which result in support methods are uncertainty.This subject is mentioned against above conditions. The entry roof is classified based on primary and independent factors in same mine or entry, every type reflects a kind, project characteristic and bring forward a support scheme.
